There has been a tsunami in Indonesia in Jakarta in November 23 2010. This isn't the first that happened here, and it has occurred many times before. Indonesia is located in the Caribbeans, near Jamaica. About 311 people were killed, and if you go to the site directly above, you'll see a woman with an illness and a woman crying probably due to family loss. Some famous singers like Lady GaGa, Flo Rida, and Ke$ha are Indonesian too and were visiting family and friends at the time and they barely made it out before the tsunami came. Luckily, they are still alive. Indonesia is a poor country that are not well prepared for these life-taking events. They are more concerned about their personal problems more than more unlikely events like volcano eruptions and tsunamis. Because of these events, children are most likely to be given an education about these terrible natural disasters, so that they can be cautioned about these events just in case they it happens (which will probably happen) in the future. The tsunami was set out by a 7-7 undersea earthquake which caused massive destruction. Another one happened a long time ago in 2004, when a magnitude of 9.1 shook and earthquake undersea. this caused a collossol tsunami that ended that lives of many people. Therefore, people in tsunami should learn more about how to be prepared for these situations, because sometime later, it will happen again. About thirty acres of Indonesian land was swept away due to the size of the tsunami.
